About- I grew up in Northern New Mexico, the third child in a loving family. Our family was actively involved in the ministries of our local church, the lives of extended family, athletic competition, camping, hunting and fishing. I surrendered to ministry during my High School years and attended Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas. My wife Deanne and I met while students at Wayland and married in 1986. I continued my education completing a Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Brite Divinity School, TCU. God blessed our family with four incredible kids; Salim, Quinton, Garith and Laina. We joined the family at Sunset Canyon Baptist Church in January of 2003.

I have served in full-time student ministry for twenty+ years in Dripping Springs, Keller, Midland, and Bedford, Texas. I have been married to my wonderful wife Donna for 26-years. We have two awesome kids…Tori is 23 and working as a Financial Analyst in Dallas. Brock is 18 and is a freshman at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. I was born and raised in Midland, Texas and graduated from Midland Lee High School. I went on to graduate from Texas Tech with a degree in advertising. Jesus saved me while I was a student at Tech. I was raised in the church, but didn’t have a relationship with Christ until my junior year in college! Exactly one year after my salvation, I knew God was calling me into full-time ministry.
